By accessing or using Masar ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of Masar, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

Masar is an AI-powered career guidance platform designed to help individuals gain clarity, build structured career roadmaps, and make progress toward their professional goals. The Platform uses artificial intelligence to assess user backgrounds, identify skill gaps, recommend learning paths, and adapt plans based on user progress.

Masar does not guarantee employment, job placement, salary outcomes, or the achievement of any specific career result. Our service is guidance-based, not placement-based.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Masar. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

To access personalized features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access at [support@masar.so] or equivalent

Masar reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these Terms.

Masar uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized career guidance, roadmaps, and recommendations. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI outputs are not professional career counseling. Masar's guidance is informational and educational in nature. It does not replace advice from a licensed career counselor, recruiter, or employment professional.
• AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific situation.
• Career recommendations are based on the information you provide. The quality of your inputs directly affects the quality of guidance you receive.
• Masar's AI may reflect biases present in underlying training data, and we continuously work to identify and reduce these.

You retain full responsibility for the career decisions you make based on Masar's guidance.

By using Masar, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and complete information about your background, experience, and goals
• Use the Platform solely for lawful, personal, non-commercial career development purposes
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce any part of the Platform or its AI outputs
• Not use Masar to mislead, deceive, or defraud third parties (e.g., misrepresenting AI-generated content as your own credentials)
• Not share your account with others

Certain features of Masar may require a paid subscription.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until cancelled.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be made at Masar's sole discretion for documented technical failures attributable to the Platform.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice to your registered email address.

All content on Masar - including but not limited to the Platform design, AI models, roadmap frameworks, user interface, and written content - is the intellectual property of Masar and its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for your personal career development. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute Platform content without written permission
• Use Masar's name, logo, or branding without prior consent
• Sell or sublicense access to the Platform

Content you create or submit through Masar (e.g., your goals, notes, profile data) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant Masar a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the service.

Your use of Masar is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

• We collect personal and career-related data to provide personalized guidance
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• Career data you share (skills, goals, experience) is used to generate your roadmap and improve our AI
• You may request deletion of your data at any time

Masar may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) to enhance your experience. These integrations are subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties. Masar is not responsible for the practices, content, or reliability of external services.

Masar is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy or completeness of AI-generated guidance
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Fitness of the Platform for any particular career outcome

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Masar and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform
• Career decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content
• Loss of data, opportunities, or income

Our total liability to you, for any claim, shall not exceed the amount you paid to Masar in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Masar at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other operational reason. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform immediately ceases.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Masar shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit against Masar.
